Thomas "Harry" Lewis Obituary

Harry passed away at Nanaimo PCU at 87 years of age. Born in Nanaimo on Sept 26, 1933.

Predeceased by his parents Tom and Rose Lewis of Coombs in 1998; and his son Mervyn Lewis aged 47 in 2005.

Lovingly remembered by his daughter, Gwen Lewis of Parksville; brother Ted (Carol) Lewis of Victoria; sister Sharon (Glenn) Kilbey of Qualicum Beach; and his only grandchild Andrea Lewis of Nanaimo.

Harry spent 18 years in the RCAF, told many stories, took lots of photos of his world travels, and collected many unique artifacts.

Harry was also a rock hound/prospector and made beautiful jewelry with precious stones.

He was a true lumberjack, splitting and bundling shakes, firewood, etc. if not an axe or powersaw in hand, always a genuine heart and hand held out to anyone in need.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no service by request.
