Jack Marshall "Captain Jack" Obituary

Jack Ballantyne Marshall, Captain Jack to his friends, passed on October 21st, 2019 at Comox Island Hospital. Jack was born in Toronto August 29th 1931. Survived by wife Penny Marshall and her sons Colin and Steven and Jack’s daughters Debbie (Tom) Wallace, Susie (Harold) Griggs and Kirsten (Brian) Marshall-Rass. Grandchildren Kyle and his wife Riley, Casey, Patrick, Ryan, Alexis , Morgan and Kellen and great grandson Liam. Predeceased by his father Robert Marshall, mother Florence Marshall, sister Netta Mcglassen, brother Bob Marshall , son in law Tom Wallace, nephew Robert Marshall and grand daughter Joanelle Raas. Jack was a pipe fitter by trade. He enjoyed woodworking and was a talented artist. Jack played in many highland bands as a bass drummer and piper. He enjoyed afternoons at the Crown and Anchor Pub and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers please do an of kindness in Jacks memory.
