SARAFINCHAN, Bobby E. (Peaceful Warrior) Born October 25, 1948. The Family of Bob Sarafinchan of Edmonton (Vegreville), Alberta, announce his change of residence to Heaven on September 27, 2019.
Bob lived a full life. He was a loyal, fun-loving, kind, generous, unfailingly courteous and steadfast Man. His quips and jokes made our lives rich. He worshipped at the altars of chocolate, ice-cream, TH coffee, meat, flying and golf. Survived by Julie, Ashleigh (Faisal) & Anna-Victoria, Cory (Samantha), Dana (Stephanie) Evan & Ethan, Lindsey & Theo, Grace, Jim (Marion), Lillian, Terry (Mercey), Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
Bob had cherished friends from all walks of life. He was a farm boy, but his spirit of adventure had him travelling around Europe by motorcycle in the 60’s, golfing around the globe and flying above the clouds where he was happiest. He obtained his pilot's license in 1998 and qualified on many different aircraft. His other passion was golf. With a pounding drive off the tee, Bob received trophies for distance, but his love of golf was a social affair.
Bob requested cremation without a service and his wishes have been fulfilled. We take solace in our wonderful memories of Bob, his sweet smile, his jokes and antics. We will never forget him, never stop loving him and always remember him just “playing through”. He will be missed (he is already…). Donations may be made to the New Democrat Party, after all, he was proudest to admit he was a “socialist”.
