Allan Walker Obituary

Allan Joseph Walker quietly passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 76. He was born in Vancouver to John and Elizabeth Walker. He was their third child out of four.
He grew up in Vancouver and then proceeded to Post—secondary school at Simon Fraser University and Regent College.
He met his wife, Penny Marshall, in his early twenties and they had two daughters. The family moved to Nova Scotia to allow him to continue his education at Acadia University,
where he followed his call to Pastor. While there, he started Pastoring. He led several churches after completing his education. This took him and his family to the Kootenays, the Okanagan,
and Vancouver Island. He planted and served his last church, Qualicum Baptist Church, for over thirty years. He became widowed in 2010. In 2013, he had the joy of marrying Angela. During this stage in life, he could explore the world in a way he had not done before.

He is survived by his wife Angela; children Judi (Alvin) Patricia (Tony), Catherine, and Steve (Alice); grandchildren Matana, Quinn, Noelle and Amber; sister Susan, and brother Rick (Vicky).
He was always willing to lend a hand, counsel comfort. He will be deeply missed by all.
Service will be held on Saturday, March 9 at 2:00pm, at St. Stephen’ s United Church in Qualicum Beach.

We take comfort in Jesus’ words:
“My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so,
would I have told you that I am going there to
prepare a place for you?
And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come back and take you to be with me
that you also may be where I am.” (1John
14 : 2—3)
